Welcome to the website of the Central Texas Chapter of the American Concrete Institute. We are located in Austin, Texas. The chapter membership is comprised of a diverse group of individuals supporting the central Texas concrete industry including concrete producers, engineers, technicians, concrete material suppliers, university professors, students, and contractors.

Topic: Roller-Compacted Concrete Pavement: Design, Construction and Texas Projects Review
Speaker:Matthew W. Singel, P.E.
Mathew Singel is currently the Program Manager for Soil Cement & RCC Pavement for the Cement Council of Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is a Licensed Civil Engineer.
We will discuss RCC’s properties, applications, costs and value engineered advantages. This presentation will also address thickness design, mix design and construction procedures for RCC paving.
This month we will be meeting at The County Line BBQ on RM 2222, their “Lake” location. Current dues paying members will eat lunch for free. All others pay $15.00. MONTHLY MEETINGS
Chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, except during July and August. Meetings are held at 11:30 a.m.
Cost for the lunch is $15.00 - If you are a current dues paying member lunch is FREE for 2012 meetings. Join the chapter as an indivudual member at the meeting for $20.00 and eat lunch at the meetings FREE. Obtain a membership form by following the membership link above.
